Job Description

HVAC technician
- Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure system efficiency and reliability.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, using technical expertise and diagnostic tools.
- Replace defective components, such as compressors, motors, valves, and thermostats.
- Test system performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize efficiency and safety.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain technical issues and provide recommendations for system improvements.
- Complete service reports, work orders, and other documentation accurately and promptly.

Skills:
- Proficient in installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
- Knowledge of electrical systems, refrigeration principles, and HVAC controls
- Familiarity with HVAC codes and regulations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
