Job Description:
Purpose of Job
This position is responsible for the management of the Accounts Payable function system wide to ensure purchases are accurately coded and timely paid.
Job Functions
Reconcile and analyze data for accuracy and timely payments.
Liaison to the organization to train and assist staff on the accounts payable system and workflow.
Maintain and monitor vendor accounts.
Run ad-hoc reports.
Resolve A/P questions and communicate with vendors and managers.
Prepare journal entries as needed.
Generate payments as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education/Work Experience
2 Year Degree
7 years or more in relevant work experience
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Strong attention to detail, maintain good organization skills, multi-task and meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other accounting applications
Ability to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions
Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above
License/Certifications
Preferred Qualifications
Experienced in accounts payable job functions in previous employment
