Purpose of Role: As the Scientific Technical Lead you will develop and manage technical change projects to drive continuous improvement and innovations. Lead a team and ensure alignment on business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Testing, product variations, investigate changes to product, impact and reactions.

  • Develop and manage technical change projects to enhance department efficiency and capability, aligning with business needs.

  • Provide effective leadership, planning, inquiry, and communication skills.

  • Collaborate with R&D, Site and Division Technical and Engineering, and Site and Division Quality Assurance to represent the site in both daily operations and long-term commitments.

  • Spearhead project/program financial goals in support of business objectives.

  • Investigate complex processes and problems to determine areas of improvement and risk.

  • Provide mentoring and guidance regarding technical and organizational areas.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 3rd level qualification in Engineering/Manufacturing/Science or equivalent related discipline is preferred. Electrochemistry qualification is preferable.

  • 3 years of previous experience in a Medical Device or Pharmaceutical environment is preferred.

  • 3-5 years of Technical Operations Supervisory experience is preferred.

  • Skilled in effective leadership, planning, analysis, and communication.

  • Strong technical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
