ThePersonal Financial Management Internis responsible for working with Financial Counselors creating, coordinating and facilitating educational seminars and classroom presentations.The Personal Financial Intern must be creative and have the ability present in front of groups concerning various topics of financial literacy.They would also work with members alongside the Financial Counselors with budgeting, rebuilding credit problems quickly and efficiently.

DutiesandResponsibilities(EssentialFunctions):
Financial Literacy and Education
oAssist the member education team in coordinating and facilitating offsite educational seminars and classroom presentations in our community schools
oCreate and write curriculum for schools and PALS camp
Financial Counseling and Planning
Gain real world experience while assisting credit counselors with counseling members on budgeting, debt consolidation and rebuilding credit
Assist management with loss mitigation duties as time permits.
Required Skills
Knowledge,Skill, and AbilityRequirements:
Education
Must be currently enrolled in college working toward a degree.
Experience
Previous work experience a plus
Interest in Financial Wellness, Sales, Finance, Accounting or related field preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
oMust be able to work approximately 10 hours/week during the school year and 30 hours/week during the summer.
oAbility to communicate, verbally and in writing, in a professional manner when dealing with employees, members, vendors and company contacts
oAbility to follow the core values of honesty, integrity, mutual respect, pride and ownership
