Role Summary:
Reporting to the Location or Sales Manager, the Sales Development Associate will learn all areas of the business and The Kendall Group's sales process. This is a rotational program designed to train and develop skills through a mix of on the job, e-learning, subject matter expert training and customer visits. This program includes exposure to operations, sales strategies, processes and project management. This will provide a great overview of our industry before transitioning into a sales role.
Exciting work you will do:
The essential duties and responsibilities of the Sales Development Associate position will consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
Work with a mentor to learn and apply sales techniques
Identify the sales opportunities and understand how to convert them into orders
Monitor all quotations generated, ensure that they are professionally followed-up with
Attend customer visits with member of sales team
Search for new prospects to expand customer base and develop sales opportunities
Interact with management and technical team to understand customer strategies
Participate in project management meetings
Attend company conducted or company sponsored training to develop product knowledge and selling techniques
Perform other duties as assigned

What you'll need:
Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, marketing, engineering or sales or related degree; minimum GPA 3.0
Analytics/Computer Skills High comfortability with digital tools and a strong acumen for quickly learning new software applications; familiarity with Office365 applications including Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint
Organization Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment; very strong attention to detail; self-motivated and proactive
Cross-functional Skills: Creative and strategic thinker; ability to provide excellent internal and external customer service
Communication Skills: Organizational and written/verbal communication skills, including telephone aptitude and the ability to interface with customers and suppliers
