Job Description
Overview
To provide mentorship, support, and outreach services to youth and parents involved with the Massachusetts
Department of Children and Families (DCF). Must have a vehicle with a valid driver's license and registration
and vehicle. Additionally, the person must be willing to work in several different cities throughout Eastern
Massachusetts.
**Workers who reside in or are familiar with the following communities listed are encouraged to apply.
Boston, Southeastern MA, Lynn, Lowell, Lawrence, Haverhill, Framingham, and Worcester.
Core Responsibilities
Establish a Game Plan (Treatment Plan) with the client and assist them in achieving their goals.
Conduct weekly home, school, and community visits.
Attend, participate, and bring clients to group activities: Peer Groups, Recreational Outings, Sports
Activities
Attend court proceedings.
Assess and address clinical behaviors and barriers to youth success.
Maintain contact with collaterals.
Assess and address family needs.
Administrative Responsibilities
Virtual Gateway (computer-based reporting system).
Monthly and weekly reports and other paperwork requirements.
Attend all staff meetings, clinical consultations, and client reviews.
Attend weekly supervision.
Make appropriate referrals to community supports.
Qualifications
Minimum Level Education Required: Bachelor's Degree
Must be CORI approved
What We Offer
Base salary: $40,000 with a chance to make up to $45,000
