Position Summary:
As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring IT systems for security measures to protect organizations infrastructure networks, computer systems, and data from loss and service interruptions. The Cybersecurity Analyst will also be responsible for identifying security risks and developing procedures to prevent future incidents.
Essential duties:
- Protect the infrastructure of company networks, computer systems, devices and data from loss and service interruptions.
- Design of security protocols and respond to periodic or ongoing security threats. Identify security risks and troubleshoot the causes of security violations.
- Utilize industry-leading tools like Crowdstrike and Mimecast to enhance our cybersecurity posture, alongside managing and optimizing firewalls, IDS, and IPS to ensure robust network security and threat prevention.
- Implement policies and procedures to halt future incidents and improve security infrastructure.
- Ensure all cybersecurity measures and protocols are in compliance with relevant legal and industry-standard frameworks, including HIPAA and NIST, to safeguard sensitive information and maintain regulatory compliance."
- Conducts investigations of any security incidents that include intrusions, frauds, attacks, or leaks on system security.
- Research findings of phishing trends, regulatory standards, and other security information.
- Run daily tests of the deployment of security infrastructure for cyber threats, vulnerability, and proper installation.
- Conducts audits of information systems for security measures to protect networks, computer systems, and data from loss of service interruptions.
- Have knowledge of standard principles with practical experience in applying them.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
- Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines. Brings investigations of security threats to the VP of IT and the managements team along with recommendations.
