Job Overview:

The Addictions Supervisor is responsible for the daily administration and supervision of the Substance use treatment Program, including the staffing, business and fiscal management.

The Addictions Supervisor will assist in the long-and-short term planning, program evaluation and compliance with federal, state, local and independent regulatory statues.

The Addictions Supervisor manages full-time and part-time addiction counselors including new hires and interns.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Master s degree in Social Work with a focus on substance abuse counseling

  • Must maintain New Jersey State criteria for supervising counselors, trainees and interns

  • Familiar with State Regulations, NJSAMS, DEA regulations, Joint Commission standards

  • Minimum of 3 years working with substance abuse population

Certifications and Licenses Required:

  • LCSW/LCADC

Essential Functions:

  • Adheres to Company Standards of conduct and complies with all policies
  • Maintains cooperative and positive attitude and approach to patient, staff and visitors
  • Responsible for all staffing from performance evaluations to recruiting and employee surveys
  • Ensures program target goals are met including patient outcomes, financial targets and regulatory compliance
  • Ensures quality of documentation and quality of clinical care provided by the front line clinicians
  • Provides clinical supervision to clinic department heads and other direct reports
  • Prepares reports to manage all data on patient care, staff performance and outcomes and responds accordingly to data gathered
  • Participates in group and individual supervision and treatment plan reviews and updates
  • Carries caseload and facilitates individual sessions and groups
  • Completes treatment plans
  • Ensures timely documentation
  • Responsible for overall client satisfaction and treatment plan reviews and updates
  • Performs other duties as assigned
