Your Responsibilities

 ​

  • Building front end user-interfaces for energy management systems, ensuring high performance, reliability, and responsiveness
  • Developing reusable components and frontend libraries for future use
  • Optimizing application in speed and scalability
  • Shaping a proper frontend architecture to ensure a well-structured and maintainable codebase
  • Supporting the team in design thinking to shape state of the art interfaces
  • Please note that this position is limited to 2 years and requires to be present in Hamburg office

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in developing modern web applications using frameworks like React (preferred) or Vue.js
  • Strong expertise in frontend architecture and design patterns
  • Experience as a Front-end engineer in a data team (graphing, charting, interactivity applications)
  • Knowledge of data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js) for enhanced user interfaces in a very mathematical domain
  • Experience in integrating and working with APIs (OpenAPI/Swagger)
  • Familiarity with Docker and containerization for deployment
  • Experience with UI/UX design principles and tools (e.g., Adobe XD, Figma), also with PostgreSQL is desirable
  • Python experience to understand our backend is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Italian language knowledge would be an advantage
  • Very good English language skills (English is our company language)
