We are currently seeking a Director of Home Lending Products. This is a senior leader position that will be responsible for maintaining, improving, managing, and developing loan products within the Home Lending Line of Business. This includes all first and second lien residential transactions such as a Mortgage, Home Equity Lines of Credit (HELOC), Quick Home Refinance (QHR), and other Real Estate Loans. This position reports to the President of Home Lending.
Key Accountabilities
Home Lending Product Set Development & Marketing
Develop and deliver a competitive mortgage product suite to serve our client needs, utilizing internal/external market research and data analytics, and in partnership with the Sales team.
Collaborate with Treasury and Finance to ensure products optimize profitability for the bank with all Home Lending Pricing.
Identify new products, volume expectations, breakeven points, and Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) implications. Identify gaps in the product suite and evaluate/analyze implementation.
Manage the Old National portfolio Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) products, along with the various State Housing Agency subsidy offerings in partnership with the CRA lending team.
Evaluate Home Lending products from pending acquisitions to facilitate a smooth client/team transition.
In partnership with the Marketing Team, ensure that the full Home Lending product suite is effectively marketed throughout the Bank footprint with traditional and digital channels.
Client Acquisition and Client Experience
Collaborate with other Old National partners or external community leaders to bring to market a dynamic client journey that is market-leading for traditional and digital real estate loan production for long-term loan growth and business success.
Provide leadership and guidance regarding the Home Lending customer experience. Continually gather feedback from internal/external clients and work with ONB lending partners to shape a best-in-class Home Lending team.
Collaborative Reporting, Monitoring and Training Processes
Develop appropriate scorecards to closely monitor performance metrics, collaborating with IT and segment leaders.
Establish a consistent credit review policy and maintain relevance for each home lending product in collaboration with the Credit team.
Ensure product servicing is a market-leading client experience, following the product through the entire origination process. Coordinate and communicate with the Servicing team to uncover referral/renewal/refinance/modification opportunities.
Assist the Mortgage Training team to ensure the sales and credit teams have accurate information and appropriate tools for effective sales.
Ensure new product rollouts are delivered in the most effective and efficient manner.
Ensure the Sales and Operations teams fully understand the product and are properly trained in how to deliver and service the products.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree (Business preferred) or equivalent work experience.
7-10 years of residential Home Lending senior leadership or related work experience
Experience with direct Home Lending sales model required.
Digital acumen for Home Lending strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with others, directly and indirectly influencing outcomes of shared channels.
Knowledge of industry products, policies, and procedures, underwriting requirements, conventional and government loan requirements, operations, and compliance requirements
