Order#: NY1497213 Workforce Development Instructor Purpose: The Workforce Development Manager works with business and industry in the identification of educational and training needs and the development of customized training programs and courses; Provides non-credit, continuing education class offerings that meet the needs of local business and industry, individuals and training initiatives. In addition, the Workforce Development Manager provides a variety of individual services such as job development, training, testing, and counseling, utilizing a case management model to enable individuals who are economically disadvantaged, dislocated, disabled, or have multiple employment barriers to find appropriate work. Key Functions: Develops, implements, enhances, and manages The Workforce Academy and its related operations and activities Develops, maintains, and coordinates a network of key internal and external stakeholder partnerships, as necessary to efficiently manage, operate and promote OneSource Solution's Workforce Academy Networks with other employment and training service providers, business and local development groups and professional organizations May facilitate group processes including testing, workshops, orientations and job clubs Participates in various partnerships, committees and advisory groups Coordinates assigned operations, receives, approves work schedules, and workforce, facilities assignments and resolves DocuSource production problems with supervisors, managers, and sales. Responsible for assisting direct reports in successful accomplishment of identified key functions and goals by providing needed resources, leadership and coaching. Adhere to Company policies and procedures to include being aware of the importance of Corporate Compliance Policies and the Code of Conduct. Staff is responsible for maintaining required certifications and licenses. Values: Demonstrates the organization's values Customer Service Communications Continuous Improvement Collaboration/Teamwork Accountability Education, Experience, Skills and/or Licensing/Certification Required: Bachelor's degree in Vocational Rehabilitation, Social Work, or other related Human Services field and five years of relevant experience Strong verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of program planning and development, goal writing, career assessment techniques Ability to develop curricula and/or vocational training programs Ability to establish program objectives or performance goals and to assess progress toward their achievement Ability to write proposals, contracts, reports, correspondence and to maintain written records Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality, credibility and professionalism.
