Job Summary
Under general direction, manages a regional recruitment territory and home office; coordinates and maximizes matriculation of students into specific programming areas; assists in the overall operation of the office of undergraduate admission; demonstrates understanding and sensitivity to the needs of all students; performs duties in accordance with the values of a Jesuit, liberal arts education. Overnight travel required along with some nights and weekends. The Program Coordinator will also serve as a liaison to faculty, academic departments, and other University stakeholders to effectively communicate enrollment information and collaborate regarding recruitment activities and pre-professional opportunities.

Job Duties
Manages a regional recruitment territory; develops recruitment strategies; travels regionally and locally- up to 20% of your time at work; maintains an informational, active communication system with either traditional high school, parents or counselors; counsels student applicants concerning admission, financial aid, career planning, and housing options if applicable. Explains, interprets, and provides outreach to students regarding the financial aid offers and next steps before enrolling. Assumes liaison activities for the Office of Admission.
Coordinates recruitment efforts with admission management to maximize the matriculation of students who are eligible to participate in specific programmatic areas; implements specific projects and strategies within strategic plans in the Admission office; adherence to goals and objectives, and professional/personal development.
Plans and arranges all phases of regional travel; conducts office-based contact by text, email and phone with students, and parents if applicable; may make reservations; assists with administrative duties in support of student recruitment;
Reads, interprets, and evaluates students' academic credentials and makes admission/denial decisions; assists with scholarship appropriation.
Participates positively as an active member of the recruitment team; assists with special programs and research projects; participates in the development and implementation of enrollment strategies; composes routine letters; compiles data for reports; maintains calendar; processes applications; schedules appointments; maintains confidential files; prepares position papers/reports; inputs/retrieves data on information system software; assists with making hiring recommendations; plans work and establishes priorities.
Required to have a valid driver's license and ID, ability to rent a car, fly or use personal vehicle for local travel, ability to book hotel for overnight travel

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree; supplemented with two (2) years of related experience.
This is a regional position based out of the state of California. We would consider Arizona for the right candidate with experience.
Compensation commensurate on experience.
