Job Summary

The Manufacturing Technician II is responsible for effectively troubleshooting the cause of manufacturing non-conformances of in-process medical devices and making the required repair in accordance with manufacturing procedures. The position includes performing testing, sorting, and rework of non-conforming parts found in manufacturing or at receiving inspection. Other responsibilities may include performing failure evaluation of non-conforming parts returned from the field. This position also may include supporting Manufacturing measuring and processing equipment activities.

*This 2nd shift position starts with training for 2-3 weeks Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m., and then after training is complete your schedule will be Monday-Friday, 3:00-11:30 p.m.

Responsibilities

Monitor daily quality and productivity
Keep the assembly production line moving at all times
Setup, debug, and operate mechanical and/or electrical test equipment
Teach and assist in proper troubleshooting to maximize work flow
Keep work areas hazard free and safe at all times
Follow company policy and guidelines
Maintain quality assurance at all times
Perform sorting, reworking and testing per instructions provided by engineering
Willingness to work overtime, especially during emergency situations
Be able to complete documentation clearly and concisely.
Frequently lifts and/or moves material and/or objects (up to 50 lbs)

Job Requirements
GED/High School diploma required.
Preferred associate degree in electronics
1-3 years' experience, or minimum associate's degree in electronics or mechanical technology will provide equivalent years of experience.
Quality minded and excellent attention to detail.
Willing to work as a team player.
Excellent attendance and punctuality.
Able to take direction and work on production requirements as needed (after training).
Computer literate.
