Job Description
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Carnes Company is offering a part-time opportunity for
a General Accountant. This person will: Be able to prepare all journal
entries for month-end close Enter journal into general according to
general accounting principles Review general ledger entries for accuracy
and investigate problems Prepare monthly sales tax filings Prepare Net
to Carnes reports and supporting documentation Be backup to Credit
Analyst in regards to cash posting Audit and reconcile physical
inventory Assist the Controller in preparing the Annual Operating Plan
Work on special projects at the discretion of the Controller \*\*\*\*\*
OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: 2-5 years of general accounting
