Where the chemistry happens…

The Edgar Site (McIntyre) is located in central Georgia and specializes in the production of kaolin clay. The site mines and processes clay to manufacture products such as FCC and catalytic intermediates. These products find applications in various industries, including oil refining, paints, rubber, plastics, wire and cable insulation, thermal paper, construction materials, and catalytic converters.

We are currently seeking a skilled professional like yourself to join our team at the Edgar (McIntyre) site in Georgia as a Maintenance and Industrial technician.

During your day shift as a Maintenance Industrial Electrician - Georgia, you will...

• Be working as a member of a team or alone to repair and maintain production equipment on your day shift. 
• Understand process equipment programs, Ladder logic, computer skills (email/word/excel/SAP), Pressure devices/DC VFD’s is a plus.
• Be responsible for repair and maintenance of the Instrument and Electrical equipment encompassing the plant switch-gear installations, electrical and pneumatic system across site. Assist in Maintaining and setting up of instrument devices: Pressure, level, flow, temperature. 
• Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints and computer logic to trouble shoot production problems and resolve them.
• Perform process control, sensing and monitoring system calibrations and record keeping.

If you...

• Have completed High School education or equivalent and a two-year Associates Degree in a related Instrumentation, Electronics or Electrical field (preferred).
• Possess 5 years’ experience supporting a manufacturing environment or industrial maintenance and good working knowledge of chemical plant equipment and technologies.
• Are comfortable working closely with mechanics, operators, engineers, and management.
• Are willing and able to work 8hr shifts with occasional overtime/on-call.
• Can lift up to 50 lbs, carrying up to 25 lbs.
