Sheet Metal Fabricator and Installer Position Overview:

Work includes fabrication and installation of ductwork, tanks, and other mechanical structures. Must communicate effectively with customers, as well as vendors, and other trades. Represent Frankart Mechanical in a professional manner. Able to accept direction and/or lead and delegate the work if necessary.

Sheet Metal Fabricator and Installer Job Skills:

• Installs, and repairs sheet metal products and equipment associated with all HVAC related work, according to job specifications and blueprints.
• Selects gauge and type of sheet metal according to product being fabricated and knowledge of metal.
• Locates and marks dimension and reference lines on metal sheets.
• Installs assemblies in plant or worksite according to blueprint specifications, using hand tools and portable power tools.
• Inspects assemblies and installation for conformance with specifications, using measuring instruments.
