SUMMARY:

In addition to performing tasks associated with moving goods from one place to another. As the Clamp Lift Operator/Material Handler, you will need to be extremely careful not to damage the goods and position them accurately. Your other responsibilities will include but not limited to:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Move paper, printing materials and other products to and from the Warehouse to the Press Line or the Bindery Department.
• Load and unload trucks.
•  Inspect and maintain equipment daily.
• Use a handheld bar code scanner.
• Use of a Slitter Machine.
• Track inventory and complete warehouse tally sheets indicating material weight, size and number of skids.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be dependable, reliable, and responsible in fulfilling obligations.
• Must work well with others.
• Must be flexible and open to change when needed.
• Must have the ability to follow instructions.
• Must be proven self-starter to complete projects/work orders.
• The ability to work up to 10-to-12-hour shifts.
• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Base knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel is a plus.
