Job Description

 
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Responsible for the development, design, and
implementation of optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes;
define parameters and critical variables of process and methods in
accordance with product specifications and quality standards; develop
and optimize continuous production and manufacturing processes to
achieve the output, quality, and cost goals of the organization;
coordinate manufacturing launches for new or revised products; develop
trials and validations of tooling and equipment of production until
become productive equipment; develop process control plans and gage
R&R\'s; collect production data to apply standard scientific and
statistical methods to analyze, document and diagram production
processes; review and follow engineering changes; identify process
bottlenecks and devise solutions to resolve; utilize and apply knowledge
of Fishbone, 5 Why, PFMEA, Gage R&R, APQP, DVP&R, SolidWorks, Root Cause
Analysis, Kaizen, DMAIC, Process Control Charts, Minitab, high pressure
die cast process, FANUC robots, Cad models, casting simulations, Six
Sigma methodologies, DG&T tools, PPAP process, IATF/BIQ audits, CQI-27
standard, and AMEF (FMEA)/Control Plan (CP)/Flow Diagram (DF) to perform
duties; apply knowledge of statistical techniques and data
collection/analysis for problem resolution; recommend changes or
upgrades to equipment, work methods, or other aspects of the process to
improve efficiency; support the utilization of resources including
labor, energy and raw materials; and ensure engineering compliance with
HSE policies, ISO 14001 standards and additional EMS documentation
requirements. Location: 4243 Gateway Drive, Sheboygan, Wisconsin 53081;
Salary: \$100,004 per year Education: Bachelor - Mechanical Engineering,
Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Metallurgical
Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent
foreign degree). Training: None Experience: Two (2) years in the
position above, as a Process Engineer, as a Continuous Improvement
Engineer, as a Die Casting Engineering Supervisor, or in a related
occupation. Other Requirements: Experience must include two (2) years
use of all the following: high pressure die cast process, FANUC robots,
Cad models, casting simulations, Six Sigma methodologies, DG&T tools,
PPAP process, IATF/BIQ audits, CQI-27 standard, and AMEF (FMEA)/Control
Plan (CP)/Flow Diagram (DF). Will also accept any suitable combination
