    About the Role:

    As a Financial Analyst, you’ll focus on analyzing the financial performance of a designated group of properties. Month-over-month, you will partner with a consistent group of properties to build familiarity, assess trends, and deliver detailed financial insights. This role is critical in supporting the company’s strategic objectives and requires a finance-focused professional with real estate knowledge.

    This long-term contract opportunity is 100% remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while still playing a key role within the organization’s collaborative and dynamic financial team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct detailed reviews of monthly property management financial packets for your assigned portfolio of properties, identifying trends and variances in performance.
    • Analyze critical reports, including occupancy reports, property financial statements, and market trends, providing actionable recommendations to key stakeholders.
    • Interpret cash flow and other key financial metrics within the property management framework to deliver insights that impact decision-making.
    • Collaborate closely with a team of 12 financial analysts, contributing to shared team goals while remaining focused on your designated properties.
    • Provide day-to-day financial support and strategic analysis to enhance operational efficiency across your property portfolio.


    Top 3 Must-Have Qualifications:

    1. Real Estate Expertise: Familiarity with the real estate and property management industry, including financial operations, occupancy metrics, and market trends.
    2. Strong Financial Analysis Skills: Demonstrated ability to review, analyze, and interpret monthly property financial packets, including financial statements and supporting documentation.
    3. Finance Background (Not Accounting): A solid foundation in financial analysis, with a focus on cash flow, market trends, and overall property performance.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
    • Previous experience in property management, real estate, or a related industry.
    • Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software including advance Excel functions.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings to non-financial stakeholders.
