Interested in joining our team of dedicated professionals? Way Finders is currently seeking an Accountable Care Organization (ACO) Manager. The ACO Manager furthers our mission through the administration and supervision of a team that supports clients enrolled in an ACO with housing needs, including stabilization and homelessness prevention services. The position covers territory throughout Hampden, Hampshire, and Franklin counties in Massachusetts.

The candidate will work in a hybrid-remote capacity but must live within commutable distance to the main office in Springfield, MA, and expect to travel throughout the region. In-office work and in-person meetings are regularly expected.

Responsibilities include:

Manage the planning, direction, and administration of assigned housing education services programs
Provide training and expertise in the interpretation and implementation of program policies and procedures, guidelines, resource availability, and in the resolution of complex matters
Assist in obtaining and maintaining credentialing necessary for program funding
Oversee participant screening and assessment process; manage participant waitlists
Monitor and analyze services data to ensure real-time entry in order to meet contractual compliance, budgetary goal-setting, and program development requirements
Complete monthly billing and invoicing; review for accuracy
Proactively conduct or facilitate regular individual meetings, team huddles, and staff meetings, providing support, feedback, and training when necessary
Assist with caseloads as needed in times of staff vacancy or absences
Attend local and statewide meetings as a representative of the organization
Provide support on any required reporting to satisfy management, auditors, and funding sources

Supervisory responsibilities include:

Hire new/replacement staff in an efficient and equitable manner, following recruiting process guidelines
Provide clear training, to include timelines and feedback, with flexibility given for different learning styles
Evaluate and provide timely feedback to staff on performance-related matters; assess staff members' strengths and developmental needs; implement performance plans to ensure the development and/or maintenance of necessary skills
Those directly supervised includes Housing Navigators and potentially other program staff

Requirements include:

5 years' progressively responsible experience in housing, social services, or a related role; a combination of experience and a Bachelor's degree may be a substitute
1 year in a supervisory or lead role
Case management experience preferred
Knowledge of social service delivery systems and public benefits preferred
Experience with managed care systems preferred
Demonstrated ability to navigate complex housing situations and other health-related social need matters
Advanced ability with Microsoft Office, and comfort learning new technologies
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work with diverse populations
Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, plus the ability to reprioritize
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record; reliable vehicle
Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are preferr
