About the role

  • Our Enterprise Architect team, consisting of 5 members, operates within the IT Strategy Department in close collaboration with senior leadership and business stakeholders.
  • As an Enterprise Architect, you will collaborate closely with senior leaders, product managers, and product owners to drive organizational transformation and optimization initiatives.
  • You will be instrumental in shaping the IT strategy and enterprise architecture vision aligned with the overall business objectives.
  • You will be accountable for:
    • Collaborating with senior business and leadership stakeholders to develop and execute the IT strategy.
    • Identifying and responding to disruptive forces, guiding investment decisions.
    • Leading the analysis of business and operating models, market trends, and technology impact.
    • Positioning the EA practice at the intersection of business and IT.
    • Developing the EA value proposition and structuring business engagement.
    • Managing cross-functional relationships and leading a collaborative community of architects.
    • Aligning business and IT by analyzing future-state capabilities.
    • Identifying organizational requirements for supporting enterprise architecture.
    • Ensuring efficient and effective business and IT operating models.
    • Assessing disruptive forces and identifying technology-enabled opportunities.
    • Providing advice on trends and disruptive technology affecting business.
    • Tracking and managing the execution of innovations to deliver expected business outcomes.
    • Maintaining alignment of architecture activities across programs, projects, and products.
    • Supporting portfolio modernization and developing roadmaps for IT investments.
    • Supporting solutions design and delivery, ensuring consistency with enterprise architecture.
  • We offer a permanent contract based on a hybrid working mode.

About you

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Eight or more years of experience in strategic planning, business analysis, or enterprise architecture consulting.
  • Knowledge of various disciplines such as business, information, solution or technical architecture.
  • Understanding of business ecosystems, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, SOA, APIs, microservices, and predictive analytics.
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture tools, graphical models, and frameworks.
  • Leadership skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
  • Excellent analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Organizationally savvy with political intelligence.
  • Balances long-term and short-term implications, estimates financial impacts, and applies multiple solutions.
  • Comfortable influencing and persuading business and IT leaders, speaking the language of business.

About the pay and benefits

  • Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the Portugal base pay reasonably expected for this role is 68 000€ to 97 000€, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
