US:WI:WEST BEND at our FROEDTERT WEST BEND HOSPITAL facility. This job
is ON - SITE. FTE: 0.001000 Shift: 1st Schedule: This is a per
diem/optional part-time position. Hours are 9:00am - 9:30pm. Will
pick-up shifts that become available within department. Must work
minimum of 48 hours in 6-week schedule and some holidays Job Summary:
Froedtert West Bend Hospital is a 70-bed facility. Its Emergency
Department is the premier emergency care provider in the Washington
County area for the whole family - infants, children, and adults - as a
Level IV Trauma Center. An exceptional opportunity for a qualified,
motivated and committed Paramedic to deliver the highest quality
holistic patient care resulting in the best healthcare outcomes and
extraordinary patient satisfaction scores in a highly collaborative team
model. Assists with patient care by performing clinical & supportive
functions that they have documented competency to perform. Adheres to
policy, procedures & established standards of practice. Highlights: West
Bend ED is a 14-bed trauma center Annual volume approximately = 21,000
Nurse to patient ratio is typically 4:1 Approximately 55-80 patients are
seen per day Requirements: 1+ years Paramedic experience preferred.
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required. Paramedic
Certification in good standing in the state of Wisconsin. Current BLS
and ACLS required. Special Skills: Fluent in English, both written and
oral Commitment to the highest ideals of the nursing profession in
caring for patients. Collaborative teamwork skills within an
interdisciplinary group focused on patient care. Ability to work
independently. Ability to exercise independent judgment. Exhibits strong
decision-making skills. Displays excellent communication skills. Ability
to perform while under stress. Ability to work in a highly collaborative
environment. Ability to document accurately and concisely. Ability to
follow hospital policies, goals and procedures. Ability to recognize and
