Job Summary

This is a part-time position. Responsibilities: Facilitate high-quality instructional practices to support a diverse learning population, accommodating various levels of ability and experience. Deliver a curriculum focused on both theoretical applications and practical, hands-on training in advanced manufacturing principles and techniques. Lead students in hands-on training using specialized equipment at the Tech Center, ensuring a balance of practical skills and theoretical knowledge. Develop and submit a comprehensive syllabus following Eastern standards before the commencement of the semester, ensuring alignment with course objectives and learning outcomes. Proficiently learn how to utilize Brightspace Learning Management System (LMS) to create an engaging and effective online learning environment. This includes managing course materials, conducting assessments, and facilitating student interactions. Conduct both formative and summative assessments to evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback and guidance to aid in their learning and development. Incorporate appropriate instructional technology and software/hardware into course delivery, enhancing the learning experience and meeting educational objectives. Take part in course-level assessments to continually refine and improve the curriculum and teaching methods. Work independently with strong time management and organizational skills, demonstrating initiative and proactive problem-solving. Engage actively in professional development activities to stay abreast of current trends and advancements in the field of advanced manufacturing. Availability and willingness to work evenings. EXPERIENCE: Prior experience teaching adult learners is preferred. Professional training and workshop facilitation experience may be considered in lieu of formal teaching experience. Strong ability to communicate effectively and maintain open lines of Communication with team members and students.
