Job Description:
Need 5 full time, temporary, seasonal Ag Equipment Operators to work in Hancock, MN.
From: 03/01/2025 to 12/15/2025
Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon.-Sat. 8 hrs./day
Hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of time and a half.
Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe
time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time
(ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year.
Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with
monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.

JOB DUTIES: Load and unload crops or containers of materials, manually or using conveyors, hand trucks, forklifts, or transfer augers. Mix specified materials or chemicals, and dump solutions, powders, or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery. Spray fertilizer or pesticide solutions to control insects, fungus and weed growth, and diseases, using hand sprayers. Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions. Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery. Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, combines, and irrigation equipment. Adjust, repair, and service farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions. Attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools. Load hoppers, containers, or conveyors to feed machines with products, using forklifts, transfer augers, suction gates, shovels, or pitchforks. Operate towed machines such as seed drills or manure spreaders to plant, fertilize, dust, and spray crops. Weigh crop-filled containers, and record weights and other identifying information. Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools, or farm workers. Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. Till soil, plant and cultivate grain. Drive and operate self-propelled combine.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a Class D driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. No minimum education required.

EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival
at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal
commuting distance; employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance.
Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of
$59.00 per day with receipts.
