Responsibilities
Major Job Activities:
- Conduct or participate in meetings and seminars as directed by the customer.
- Maintain all integration notes, project documentation, and after-action reports as requested by the customer.
- Support emergency operations and maintenance personnel during periods of impending disaster or emergency as directed.
- Submit, update, track, monitor, and finalize requirements. Support and assist in the planning of exercises and inspections.
- Assist in acquisition of software and hardware to support program and requirements.
- Provide detailed design configuration, integration, cost estimates, and timeline products for government approval.
- Act as overall Project Lead overseeing daily management of organizational defined projects and coordinates with internal/external organizations for project completion.
- Plans and develops life cycle management of programs.
- Assists with authoring policies for government personnel to publish and employ, in support of programs.
- Submit weekly or as directed updated Project Status Reports which include but are not limited to tasks accomplishments, planned tasks and a consolidated issue list.
- Provide a comprehensive Project Management Plan that incorporates recognized project management best practices. Plan shall be used to guide all tasks and include key metrics that shall be used to measure the success of the project.
- Supports programs and projects by traveling to various sites semi-annually, dependent on the respective programs/projects and the direction of the government representative.
Material & Equipment Directly Used:
Government computers and DoD approved software.
Working Environment:
- Working environment is a climate-controlled facility. Outdoor temperatures in some working locations may exceed temperatures of 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
- May require support during periods of non-traditional working hours including nights or weekends.
Physical Activities:
Must be able to lift / push / pull 40 lbs. unassisted.
Qualifications
Education / Certifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from an accredited University
- U.S. Citizen
- Active Secret Tier 3 (or higher) Security Clearance
Experience / Skills:
- 8 years experience in supervising personnel and managing multiple complex technical programs; budgetary responsibility; planning and estimating work loading requirements; and communicating and interfacing with DoD customers; AND
- 2 years experience in managing or supervising personnel in the Middle East; AND
- 5 years practical experience in any of the following military communication systems: Information Technology; RF Communications; Satellite Communications; Telecommunications; Analog, Power and/or RF Design; Tech Control
