Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, the CUSTOMER SUCCESS SPECIALIST is responsible for delivering a top-notch online shopping experience via phone and live-chat in a high volume and fast-paced work environment. To be successful in this role you will have a passion for all things automotive, be knowledgeable of and enjoy speaking about automotive parts and accessories, and have the patience and persistence needed to “close the deal”.


Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Develop a deep expertise in the technical aspects of our product offering
  • Use your general automotive knowledge coupled with specific knowledge of our products and strong interpersonal communication skills to help customers find and purchase the products they need
  • Handle a high volume of incoming calls, live chats, emails and other communications from existing and prospective customers with courtesy and enthusiasm
  • Provide exceptional first point of contact customer service while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor in all dealings with customers and prospects
  • Competently handle and accurately enter complex custom specifications with ease
  • Diligently follow up on sales leads and support inquiries to resolve all tickets timely
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales goals and metrics for contacts, conversion rate, AOV, one-touch resolution, and order accuracy
  • Enthusiastically support business objectives and cross-train on other functions as requested
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 + years recent experience in a similar role
  • First-hand knowledge of automotive aftermarket accessories and their installation
  • Experience with Shopify, Shopify Plus or similar eCommerce platform
  • Familiarity with ZenDesk, HubSpot, Freshdesk, LiveAgent or similar customer service ticketing software
  • Excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on using a clear speaking voice and listening attentively to the customer
  • Proven track record of great selling skills and ability to deliver an outstanding customer experience
  • Strong desire and willingness to learn the business and continually improve
  • Comfortable working with MS Office and other business software
