This role offers the opportunity to lead complex fund operations and valuations, partner closely with internal stakeholders, and grow into a leadership role over time.

What You’ll Do:

📊 Valuations (ASC 820)

Lead quarterly valuations for portfolio companies using accepted VC methodologies
Analyze and document legal, financial, and market inputs
Present valuation results to internal teams, auditors, and valuation committees

🧾 Fund Accounting & Operations

Support quarterly close, including fund and partner financials
Review capital calls, distribution calculations, and investor allocations
Manage cash flow, capital planning, and reconciliations
Prepare and support annual audits and financial statements
Respond to LP requests and ensure reporting excellence
Train and mentor junior fund accountants

What We’re Looking For:

Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (CPA preferred but not required)
3+ years in public accounting (VC or PE clients), or in-house fund accounting at a venture/private equity firm
In-depth knowledge of ASC 820 and ASC 946
Hands-on audit and close process experience
Advanced Excel modeling skills
Familiarity with systems like Investran, Intacct, or QuickBooks a plus
Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially with investors and external partners

Base Salary: $125–$150k (depending on experience)
