Job Summary
Food preparation and cooking in Valdosta's premier steakhouse and seafood restaurant, being part of a positive active team and growing with the business.
Kitchen Staff Responsibilities:- Clean workstations, cooking equipment, and food storage areas in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Wash, chop and shred ingredients for subsequent use by the kitchen staff.
- Sweep and mop floors, as required.
- Assist with the unloading of deliveries.
- Store ingredients according to prescribed food safety regulations.
- Report all damaged or faulty equipment to the kitchen manager.
- Pack customers' leftover food upon request.
- Clean trash cans and dispose of trash on a regular basis.
Kitchen Staff Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- No experience necessary/ Training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food safety procedures preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work shifts, over weekends, and on public holidays, as needed.
