Compensation: BASE PAY Plus COMMISSION Plus CAR ALLOWANCE 

(Ability to earn $100,000 to $350,000 - Your drive and ambition determines your Salary)

POSITION SUMMARY

RAM Windows is looking for Outside Sales Representatives to join our Austin, Dallas-Ft. Worth, and Houston offices. The Outside Sales Representatives will sell products and services offered by our company to current and new customers. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in window sales, strong multitasking ability, and excellent follow-up skills. He/she will be an expert communicator with success in negotiation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for maintaining relationships with new and existing customers. This position is responsible for providing its customer product information for all of RAM’s product portfolio. This position is responsible for building long-term rapport with the key decision makers such as architects, developers, general contractors and business owners. Other responsibilities include:
  • Recognizing opportunities in the market, increasing sales and exceeding sales goals
  • Selling a targeted market to existing and prospective building contractors, remodeling contractors,        architects and distributors.

  • Analytical Skills - Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem
  • Strong Written and Oral Communication skills. Possess the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with others
  • Possess problem solving abilities to ‘think on their feet’ and proactively arrive at a solution

  • Client support and networking – Acquire and maintain a network of sources to identify new sales leads. Communicate with customers and leads to identify and understand their needs.  Align value propositions with customer pain points to sell product/service. Demonstrate the functions and uses of the products or services to customers. Ensure client satisfaction through open discussion. Respond to and fix issues that arise throughout the sales cycle. Stay in constant contact with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.
  • Reporting –  Maintain daily reports of sales activities, including calls, orders, sales, lost business and any other issues. Provide periodic territory sales forecasts as requested.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Public relations, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience; window or door experience is preferred

REQUIRED JOB-RELATED SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Competency and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Microsoft Office proficiency, specifically, Excel to be able to do Customer Quotes
  • Demonstrated judgment and decision-making ability
  • Excellent Negotiation and Communication skills, both written and verbal

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experienced in B2B sales, cold calls and must show a history of success

  • Ability to read architects drawings (plus)

  • Self-motivator with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Great presentation skills

  • Strong lead generation and follow-up skills

  • Must have a valid Driver's License t travel to Customer sites
  • Experienced in customer service
  • Organized and Self-disciplined
  • Detail oriented with a strong sense of urgency
  • Reliable, Honest and high level of Integrity
  • Fast-paced & energetic, motivated individual.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills

PHYSICAL & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer, up to 50%
  • While performing the duties of this job the employee may be required to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and/or climb on different terrains
  • Judgment, decision-making, follow-up, social awareness, reading/writing, organizational, timeliness, stress tolerance, communication (oral and written)
