The City of Defiance is accepting applications for the position of Water Treatment Assistant Superintendent. This position will administer, supervisor, direct and perform the duties and responsibilities of day-to-day operations of the water treatment plant, laboratory, and maintenance program. Candidate must possess a valid Class III State of Ohio Water Supply License, be able to obtain certification for microbiological analysis, and possess a valid Ohio Driver’s License. Minimum qualifications include at least five years of experience in water plant operations including surface water plant and a minimum of two years of supervisory experience. The current salary range for this position is $68,000 - $72,000. Applicants with Military Service must provide a copy of Form DD-214 when submitting resume.
