Job Description A Gentle Touch Senior Home Care is a family owned and operated companion home care agency proudly servicing Suffolk County, Nassau County and all 5 Burroughs! We are seeking kind, compassionate, reliable employees to care for our beloved senior citizens. Positions are available from part-time hourly shift work, to full time 24/7 live in shifts! We offer our very own orientation and training, no certifications necessary! All applicants must have a valid NYS Photo ID and proof to legally work in the United States. Please feel free to call us anytime at 631-647-7622 with any questions! 1. attend to or care for children. 2. work with persons with mental disabilities or illnesses. 3. position patient for therapy. 4. prepare patients for tests, therapy, or treatments. 5. administer medications or treatments. 6. maintain dental or medical records. 7. observe patient condition. 8. set up patient care equipment. 9. take vital signs. 10. weigh patients. 11. collect specimens from patients. 12. administer enemas, irrigations, or douches to patients. 13. assist patient in walking or exercising. 14. assist patient with dressing, undressing, grooming, or bathing. 15. feed patients. 16. lift or transport ill or injured patients. 17. provide in home patient care. 18. entertain patients. 19. instruct patients in methods to improve functional activities. 20. change linen. 21. cook meals. 22. purchase food or beverages. 23. clean linens. 24. clean or wax floors. 25. clean rooms or work areas. 26. operate cleaning equipment.
