Job Summary: Personal Care Aid/Personal Care Support Provider (PCA/PCSP) act as a bridge to independent living for many seniors as well as those with disabilities who may also require assistance with activities of daily living. From monitoring a clients vital signs and physical or mental condition, to assisting with grooming, hygiene, and chores around the house, Home Health Aides allow clients to maintain the familiarity and dignity of living at home.

Personal Care Aid/Personal Care Support Provider (PCA/PCSP) Responsibilities:
- Help clients with personal hygiene, dressing, bathingand other daily tasks
- Perform basic health care services for clientsincluding checking vital signs or administeringprescription medication
- Help with general light housekeeping, includingcooking meals
- Collect information about conditions and treatmentplans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and familymembers
- Observe and report on each clients condition
- Stay up-to-date with home health aide training,policies and procedures
Personal Care Aid/Personal Care Support Provider (PCA/PCSP) Requirements:
- Previous experience as a home health aidepreferred but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Access to reliable transportation
- Current CPR (American Heart Association)Certification preferred
- Must be able to pass a criminal background checkand provide references
- Ability to think and work both independently andwith direction
- Must have exceptional personal hygiene
- Must be respectful and compassionate with a goodbedside manner
- Knowledge of basic housekeeping
