Position Summary
This position involves assisting the Metro Asphalt and Paving Project Managers
and Estimating Staff with various tasks and duties. These duties include but
are not limited to:
Set and reset no parking signs
Place, maintain and remove storm water protection devices
Hand out notices or door hangers to residences and office buildings
Build asphalt ramps for utilities or milled surface joints
Power washing
Assist Project Manager with site supervision and crew start ups
Project site clean up
Asphalt ticket taking
Occasional assistance with placement and moving of various traffic control
devices
Other various manual tasks including, but not limited to, the following:
shoveling; sweeping; lifting, pushing and pulling various objects
Responsibilities
Must become a member of the local Labor Union
