Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in science - Civil Engineering or an applicable degree related to Transportation
Licensed PE license in the State of Florida
Minimum 5+ years of professional technical work experience
Exposure to FDOT
Self-efficient and driven, willingness to wear multiple hats and gain experience
Willingness to mentor and be a part of a collaborative team

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Nice to have:
Experience with MicroStation ORD
Knowledge with Large Scale FDOT projects
Technical Training experience
Core Responsibilities:
Perform design calculations, prepare plans, and direct schematic designs for FDOT and local government projects.
Utilize advanced techniques, theories, precepts, and practices in your work.
Collaborate with task leaders, team members, clients, and other consultants.
Exercise judgment in independently evaluating, selecting, and adapting standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
Mentor direct reports and share knowledge with others.
Participate in team lunches, breakfasts, and social activities.
