Digital Accessibility Specialist to join our Digital Nexus technology
organization. This is a hybrid work opportunity.Responsibilities: Assist
in the development and implementation of a comprehensive digital
accessibility strategy aligned with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines
2.2 (WCAG 2.2) and other relevant standards Support the creation and
execution of strategic plans, including developing processes, for
accessibility improvements and prioritizing initiatives that align with
business objectives and user needs Collaborate heavily with the User
Experience and the Digital Enablement teams to support the most
accessible as possible of digital experiences for people of all levels
of ability Provide training and education to employees on accessibility
best practices, standards, and tools; work closely with cross-functional
teams to ensure accessibility is integrated into the entire product
development lifecycle Keep informed with the latest accessibility
regulations and standards, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and
guidelines; advocate for accessibility within the organization and
promote a culture of accessibilityQualifications: Minimum three years of
recent experience in digital accessibility, including experience with
WCAG 2.2 and other accessibility standards, with a strong focus on
strategic planning and implementation of accessibility initiatives
Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited college or university is
preferred; certifications in Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS) or
Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC)
