JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: Apply today! Recreation & Wellbeing is
offering a \$1,000 to \$2,000 hiring bonus! Recreation & Wellbeing (Rec
Well) is ready to hire a self-motivated Grounds & Facility Technician
with a passion for working in outdoors grounds maintenance with a
variety of tasks in different settings and a wide range of
possibilities. We are looking for a mechanically inclined team member
and offer on-the-job training for those willing to learn and expand
their skill set. Working at Rec Well facilities provides a dynamic work
environment where no two days are the same. This entry-level position is
a unique opportunity to start a career at a top-tier university and
acquire new skills, including basic building repairs, outdoor field
maintenance, and light mechanical work. Responsibilities: Tasks: Develop
strong working relationships with campus partners such as Physical
Plant, Risk Management, and EHS. Attend Divisional Staff meetings and
trainings. Attend state, regional, and national conferences as approved
to keep abreast of current trends and issues. Participate in trade shows
and other professional development opportunities presented by the
department. Pursue and maintain all necessary certifications related to
job responsibilities (American Red Cross Adult CPR/FA/AED) Serve on
department, division, or university committees as requested. On an
occasional basis, exercise flexibility to work evening or weekend hours.
