We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations and ensure accuracy in reporting for a construction organization in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role requires a highly organized individual with a strong background in accounting practices, including payroll, reconciliations, and construction-related financial activities.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Oversee general ledger activities, including maintaining accurate journal entries.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements to support organizational decision-making.
• Reconcile accounts on a regular basis to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Supervise payroll processes for a workforce of under 100 employees.
• Handle construction accounting tasks, including job costing and billing.
• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions efficiently.
• Perform bank reconciliations to maintain financial integrity and accuracy.
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management.
• Expertise in month-end close procedures and general ledger management.
• Proficiency in account reconciliation and journal entry preparation.
• Strong knowledge of construction accounting, including job costing and billing.
• Experience managing payroll for small to mid-sized teams.
• Familiarity with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
• Demonstrated ability to perform bank reconciliations with accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills to ensure precision in financial operations.
