Job Description:
The Emergency Medical Services Instructor is primarily responsible instruction of the basic and first responder level courses, with the ability to play a lead role. This position instructs courses independently and cooperatively with per diem instructors. The instructor may participate in the development of curriculum at the basic level. The instructor duties include participation in mandatory preparatory meetings, preparation and clean-up of classroom and skills materials/equipment including driving to off-site locations, evaluation of material, active participation in the improvement of this material, taking a lead role when appropriate, and supporting program development and special projects.

Required Qualifications:
Minimum one (1) year full-time work experience in a pre-hospital, emergency or critical care setting.
6 months of teaching experience.
Current NREMT Minnesota License or EMT Wisconsin License OR Current NREMT Minnesota License or Wisconsin Paramedic License OR Current Minnesota or Wisconsin Nurse Licensure.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
