Job Title: Bookkeeper
Wages: $20.00 per hour
Work Schedule: 9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M., Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday (16 hours per week)
Benefits: Paid Vacation after one year of employment
First Lutheran Church is offering a part time church bookkeeper position. This position is a full charge bookkeeper. A full charge bookkeeper is a finance professional responsible for managing all aspects of the First Lutheran Church financial records, including accounts payable, payroll, and generating financial statements. In other words, they are to manage all of the church's accounting needs.

Desired Minimum Qualifications:
1. Education and Experience
a. High School diploma
b. GED equivalent
c. Minimum two years of full charge bookkeeping experience
2. Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
a. Must have the ability to communicate clearly in both written and verbal form.
b. Must be able to work with a variety of people.
c. Must have the ability to maintain professionalism
d. Must be knowledgeable and proficient in computer skills and using current word processing programs and accounting software (i.e. Quick books).
