Description

Responsibilities 
  • Design and layout of PCBs for automotive applications.
  • Provide technical support and advise ATV Engineers or customers on topics related to PCB design and optimization.
  • Verify optimal layout design of PCBs thru bench testing and/or simulations.
  • Manage and maintain the team’s component and footprint libraries to ensure entries comply with relevant standards. This includes the creation of new part entries and footprints.
  • Support the Automotive Team by generating technical documentation for Application Notes, Datasheets, or customer support requests.
  • Collaborate with and support related automotive and industrial groups like Business Development, Marketing, ASIC Development, Operations, Quality Department, etc.
  • Review all PCB designs created within the Automotive team and then generate necessary files for production.
Requirements 
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related fields (e.g., Physics)
  • 2 years of experience in Analog or Power Electronics circuit design
  • 2 years of experience in the layout of printed circuit for boards using common industry CAD systems (e.g., Altium Designer, Allegro, OrCAD)
  • Good understanding of Electrical/Electronics fundamental concepts and how it is applied to printed circuit board design.
  • Knowledge of international standards applicable to board design
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Good command of spoken and written English
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Good learning capability and willingness to pursue further education
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Team player
Preferred 
  • Familiar with PCB manufacturing processes and has experience communicating with Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS)
  • Proficient in the use of 3D modeling software such as Solidworks
  • Experience in PCB design of power electronic systems (power supplies, motor drivers, gate drivers, etc.) and high voltage designs
  • Has experience in using common electronics bench equipment such as Power Supplies, Electronic Loads, Oscilloscope, etc
