WHAT WE CAN ACHIEVE TOGETHER

The Intern will be responsible for supporting the Cause Marketing and Brand Partnerships team by conducting research on corporate brands and professional sports leagues/teams that could help TNC drive revenue from the sports marketing sector while engaging key/priority audiences.

The Cause Marketing & Brand Partnerships Intern will also play a key role in providing new perspectives and insights on existing partner campaigns, activations, creative, and will support our current sports marketing initiative. The Intern will report to the Associate Director of Cause Marketing & Brand Partnerships.

As the Cause Marketing & Brand Partnerships Intern, you will:

  • Conduct research to identify companies/brands that are engaging with key/priority audiences
  • Assist in facilitating initiatives to collaborate with professional sports teams and coordinate efforts across multiple TNC local offices
  • Responsible for tracking existing and ongoing partnerships
  • Support the development of pitch materials
  • Identify opportunities for brand engagement built on current trends, events, and movements
  • Update campaign focused assets, including web copy


WE'RE LOOKING FOR YOU

We are looking for a Cause Marketing & Brand Partnerships Intern to fill a paid 10-week summer internship. The intern can be a graduate student, or recent graduate (between 2023 and 2025). This position is home-based in the United States and will provide a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between academics and real-world work. We offer an orientation, professional networking opportunities, and real-world work experience.


WHAT YOU'LL BRING

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • HS Diploma or equivalent. Currently enrolled in an undergraduate (or professional/graduate) program studying sports marketing, communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience/interest in any of the following: partnership marketing, sports marketing, brand trends, marketing research, promotions
  • Proficient written and oral communication skills
  • Experience in research, writing, and editing
  • Attention to detail in reviewing and producing high-quality work
  • Access to a reliable internet connection

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Coursework and/or exposure related to communications/marketing, or sports
  • Self-starter, taking initiative, and demonstrating confidence to ask questions and seek input
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with a keen attention to detail
  • Professional/graduate degree is a plus.
  • Multi-lingual skills and multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience appreciated
  • Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software, with the ability to construct and produce reports
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Adept at quickly learning new software and project management systems to facilitate collaborative work (experience with Asana is an advantage)
  • Proficient in conducting thorough research and developing comprehensive content and materials to substantiate findings
