You will carry out the daily operations of an HR Department and assist the Administrator with related assignments and office operations. Experience with payroll software is required. Experience in ADP is highly preferred. Here is what you get to do each day:


    Conduct full payroll processing of semi-monthly payroll.

    Monitor and record attendance of employees, keeping up with out of office calendar.

    Execute orientation and onboarding for all new employees.

    Prepare and maintain new hire and termination checklists and paperwork.

    Administer company employee benefit plans, including assistance with annual renewals and implementation of open enrollment.

    Assist Finance Administrator with administration of 401(k) plan, including compliance testing and necessary disclosures.

    Assist Administrator with staff recruiting as needed.

    Conduct annual general business insurance renewals including collecting necessary reports for application and submitting for approval to supervising attorney.

    Keep track of and process the renewal of all notaries for office.

    Prepare the annual review schedule for year, distribute performance review forms and prepare files for the Administrator to conduct reviews.

    Approve service contract invoices for submission to the accounting department for payment.

    Complete annual industry surveys regarding salary and benefits.

    Stay up to date with HR compliance requirements and regulations by attending necessary seminars and training sessions.

    Supervise Cristo Rey students, attending supervisory training as well as being point-person for all projects. Responsible for full cycle year activities, calendars, evaluations and events.

    Occasionally assist marketing with events as needed.

    Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources.

    Must have experience working in a law firm

    Ideal candidate will have HR experience supporting a Law Firm Administrator

    Knowledge of payroll software required. Experience in ADP is highly preferred.
