    We have partnered with a successful organization on their search for a thorough Sr. Payroll Specialist with proven experience processing multi-state payroll for hourly and salaried employees. In this role, you will maintain employee payroll records, data entry of payroll transactions, process payroll garnishments, assist with cost analysis, reconcile payroll data, provide audit support, assist with payroll discrepancies, and coordinate with HR on employee tax updates. This candidate must have knowledge of payroll, wage and tax laws, and have the ability to multi-task time sensitive confidential request.

     

    Major Responsibilities

    ·      Enter and process payroll data

    ·      Assist with general accounting tasks

    ·      Prepare financial statements

    ·      Coordinate with HR on compliance regulations

    ·      Handle incoming payroll call inquiries

    ·      KPI Reporting

    ·      Reconcile payroll data

    The ideal Sr. Payroll Specialist will have a Bachelors degree preferably.


    Other requirements for the Sr. Payroll Specialist role include and are not limited to:

    ·      Strong knowledge of GAAP
