NY1495613 Adjunct Instructor - Nursing Salary: Current adjunct rate $57.51 per contact hour increasing to $58.95 per contact hour for the Fall Semester. The School of Health Sciences is seeking an Adjunct Instructor to teach in an Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN)-accredited, Associates Degree nursing program. Responsibility includes clinical assignments offered during the day, evening or weekend to off-campus clinical sites. This position requires student advisement and committee responsibilities, curriculum development and program assessment activities, variable teaching schedules and alternative instructional strategies as assigned. Participation in service-based learning and interest in international initiatives are appreciated. Qualifications: Current RN licensure in New York State Master's degree in Nursing at the time of appointment (or enrolled) Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience Effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work in a multicultural environment Flexibility in schedule and a willingness to work and contribute collaboratively Special Instructions to Applicants: Official academic transcripts required upon hire.
