Job Description

*THIS IS A SEASONAL, PART TIME POSITION*
Summary:
This is a responsible non-supervisory position to assist and help provide nutritious meals to all Tribal children who participate in the Tribal Summer Food Program of the Alabama-Coushatta Tribe of Texas. Hours from 9am- 2pm but can vary.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assists and helps prepare all meals in accordance with TSFP guidelines
Maintains kitchen equipment and utensils are in safe, clean, and neat manner according to health regulations
Maintains adequate inventory of food
Wash hands frequently during food preparation and clean up
Assists in the clean -up of the meal preparation and feeding areas
Reports any injuries or other emergencies to the Summer Food Monitor
Maintains a safe and clean environment for the participants
Performs other duties as may be relevant for the position

Education and Experience:

Must have a High School Diploma or GED
Must have Food Handler's Certification
Must be able to attend SFSP train/orientation prior to first day of program
Must be able to pass drug test
Must be able to pass a background check
