Pay Range

The pay range for this position is between $135,000.00 – $240,000.00.
Starting wage may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. Position Purpose:
As a Product Principal, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the operational framework that underpins our product portfolio strategy, enabling us to achieve our objective of delivering a unified customer and associate experience across our Pro ecosystem. By bridging cross-product objectives with operational realities, you will help make every interaction with our products intuitive, consistent, and engaging.
Key Responsibilities:
- 10% Delivery and Execution – Coordinates Distinguished Engineers, User Experience Principals, and Impacted Teams to ensure path to scope is known and aligned; Reviews recommended solutions and work of product team to ensure products are aligned with company, stakeholder and end user priorities
- 60% Strategy and Planning – Partners with either a Cross-Functional Program or Technology Portfolio to align outcomes; Cascading context up to leadership and strategy down to balanced teams using OKRs; Lead cross-functional discovery by partnering with UX Principals, Distinguished Engineers (DEs), and balanced teams; Creation, coordination, and sequencing of activities to ensure alignment across impacted teams (Inputs for planning sessions); Providing visibility of the work by providing holistic roadmap with dependencies
- 30% Team and Stakeholder – Partners with leadership to represent the portfolio during enterprise planning, coordination, and discovery; Fosters collaboration across multiple teams and portfolios to drive value and identify and resolve impediments; Manages cross-functional team and stakeholder expectations to ensure scoping aligns to product strategy and provides education to requestors to determine prioritization based on tangible benefits and/or user experience

Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

7+ years of experience orchestrating product operations across multiple products and teams, with a track record of driving customer-obsessed outcomes in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment

Strong understanding of product development processes and agile methodologies

Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity, driving clarity and alignment across large-scale teams

Collaborative work ethic, building positive relationships across product, design, engineering, business, sales, and other interdependent teams

Strong systems thinking, with the capacity to understand and analyze complex interdependencies within a product ecosystem and influence teams to create holistic solutions

Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner to various audiences

Experience in leading change management initiatives and driving organizational transformation.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a major plus

Knowledge of PM and UX tools (Jira Align, Confluence, Trello, Miro, Figma, TheyDo)

Paid Time Off (PTO):
Salaried associates are eligible for 2 weeks of vacation in their first year; FT hourly will be eligible for 40 hours of paid vacation time after 6 months of continuous service; (for positions in Washington State, Spokane, and Tacoma only) – Salary and Temporary associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 40 hours worked; FT associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 40 hours worked or 4 hours per month, whichever is greater; (for positions in Seattle only) – Salary and Temporary associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked; FT associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked or 4 hours per month, whichever is greater.
