JOB REQUIREMENTS: JOB ID: 20727 JOB TITLE: #24-73: Outreach Program
Manager - CCE POSITION: Outreach Program Manager, OE008, 100% FTE,
Academic Staff, 12-month appointment, Renewable, 1 Vacancy This position
is eligible for hybrid work consideration. Currently eligibility
requires residency in one of the following states: Wisconsin or
Minnesota upon hire. POSITION SUMMARY: Provides guidance for program
planning, implementation, and evaluation, and/or supervises outreach
staff. Monitors budget and appropriate funding for programming. Promotes
stable and productive relationships between the university and
community. Strives to expand and ensure access to programs, facilities,
and educational services to diverse audiences. The Outreach Program
Manager in the Center of Continuing Education manages the operation and
ongoing development of credit and non-credit programming in response to
identified community needs and in support of the mission of the
University of Wisconsin-Superior. The Outreach Program Manager will be
responsible for identifying, planning, developing, and evaluating
educational programs. The Outreach Program Manager amends programmatic
directions to enhance and/or update established curriculum. The Outreach
Program Manager facilitates the development and delivery of high-quality
educational programs and courses so learners of all ages can reach their
personal and professional goals. The Outreach Program Manager reports to
the Director of the Center for Continuing Education. This position pays
specific attention to the following programs and initiatives: credit
course offerings for traditional and non-traditional students, English
as a second language credit courses, professional development programs
(may include topics such as Human Resources, Marketing, and Leadership
and other topics as identified by community needs) and new program
development in a variety of areas. UW-STANDARD JOB DESCRIPTION DUTIES:
-Supervise the implementation of outreach-program-focused strategic
planning initiatives and objectives. - Develop and implement operating
policies and procedures to promote the outreach program in alignment
with the strategic plan. -Monitor the unit or program budget and
approves program expenditures. -Review recommendations for and provides
input on the design and development of new outreach programs or
services. - Determine outreach program needs and the personnel resource
allocation plan. - May exercise supervisory authority, including hiring,
transferring, suspending, promoting, managing conduct and performance,
discharging, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and/or approving hours
worked of at least 2.0 FTE or equivalent employees) STARTING DATE: June

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE: -Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited
institution. -Two plus years work experience managing educational
outreach activities. -Valid Driver\'s License. -Ability to work early
mornings, evenings or weekends, with overnight travel as needed. This
position is currently ineligible for H1-B sponsorship. A qualification
for this position includes independent eligibility to work within the
United States upon hire date. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
-Master\'s degree from an accredited institution. -Experience
supervising staff and/or the work of staff within a unit. Working
knowledge of the communities and their educational needs within the Twin
Ports and surrounding rural areas, especially Northwest Wisconsin. -
Experience in program promotion and copy writing. - Experience in
instructional design and best pedagogy practices for a variety of
