Job Description | The Network System Specialist will play an important role in supporting the efficient operation of our services, systems and network infrastructure. This position will be tasked with broad range of responsibilities, including maintaining various aspects of our network, administering systems and providing technical support to faculty, staff and students. This support includes, but is not limited to, Active Directory, server/system maintenance, storage, inventory, cybersecurity as well as virtualization environments for both client and server. This position will be part of the IT Project Management team, completing assigned tasks and adhering to documented timeframes. This position is a full-time Professional Services position (261-day contract). Starting salary for the position is $45,000.00 annually. Benefits include medical, dental & vision insurance, $50,000 life insurance, long-term disability, paid sick leave, paid discretionary leave, 15 days vacation per year, paid holiday and spring breaks and participation in IPERS or TIAA retirement plan. The Network System Specialist will abide by the employment contract and relevant policies and guidelines of the Board of Trustees. |

Physical Demands | The Network System Specialist must have the ability and mobility to service both campuses; ability to travel to other areas and throughout the college district as needed. Must be able to work on a basis of “available as work demands” in addition to a fixed schedule, which will include evenings and weekends. In addition, the individual in this position will actively promote a positive image for the college district. |
