Summary The Production Scheduler works together with purchasing and the
production supervisor to align the production and shipping department\'s
capacity plans with the product/ inventory needed to meet customer
demand. The Production Scheduler is the primary liaison between Customer
Care and the plant, with a focus on our On Time Delivery objectives. The
Production Scheduler will report directly to the Materials Manager.
Responsibilities Develops and maintains accurate scheduled dates in ERP
for forecasted and accepted projects, and communicates as needed Reviews
the backlog with regular cadence and proactively meets with production
and purchasing to address potential delivery misses. Collaborates with
Purchasing, Materials, Manufacturing, Customer Care, and Sales to
identify challenges and solutions to meet customer order fulfillment
dates. Escalates potential and existing late customer deliveries.
Responsible for delivery to Strategic OEM accounts. Coordinates with the
shipping department to help ensure on time delivery. Addresses inquiries
such as order status, expediting requests, etc. Reports on delivery
metrics. Performs other duties as assigned. Experience and Skill
Required Associate\'s degree in a related field, or equivalent level of
experience and education Proficient with SAP Minimum 3 years of related
experience working with production schedules Excellent verbal and
written communication, and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational
and multi-tasking skills Ability to read specifications, route sheets,
blueprints, charts, test information, and bills of material. Proven
computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel,
and Outlook. Proven application of accurate addition, subtraction,
