• Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package with benefits and hourly wages ranging from $21 - $27 / hour. Wage determinations will be based on similar experience.

We are looking for a Resident Assistant to join our team! This position would provide personal cares to improve and/or maintain the senior assisted living memory care patient's physical and emotional well-being. This direct care position is located in quaint town of Welch, MN and the schedule includes;

• 40 hours every two weeks
• Part time schedule, day shifts; 6AM - 2:30PM
• Includes every other weekend saturday/sunday and holiday

The Prairie Island Indian Community, a federally recognized Mdewakanton Dakota Tribe, developed Tinta Wita Tipi- an assisted living lodge to serve all seniors by bringing together aging residents from the surrounding communities.  Tinta Wita Tipi wishes to celebrate its Dakota and community elders through honor, care and respect while encouraging family involvement. This newer 20 unit, beautifully designed single-story assisted living is located on 18 acres of tribal land in Welch, MN near Highway 61 not far from Farmington, Red Wing, or Hastings.  Managed by Ebenezer, our staff is local and believes in Ebenezer’s mission to heal, discover, and educate for longer healthier, meaningful lives.

• Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to: bathing, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, and transfers/lifts.
• Under direction of Nurse, provides health related services as needed such as; passing medication, glucose monitoring, temperatures, blood pressure, and pulse.
• May perform duties that include: laundry, cleaning, meal service, and assisting with activities.
• Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff
• Assists with onboarding of new staff

Required:

• Ability to communicate effectively, with compassion and patience for residents and coworkers while working in a team setting.
• Curiosity to work with a diverse and older population
• CNA certificate required if under 18

Preferred:

• High School diploma or GED or completion of a formal NA/CNA or HHA or PCA course
